so, this is how i got the sunburn. for the first time in my life.
ever! :p
last Sunday, went to this kinda camp in a small town in Kagoshima called Kawanabe. well, actually went there for kayaking the next morning, but since there's a small kinda festival that night, we went on sunday instead. (we didn't want to wake up too early in the morning, did we?)
Mitch was the one who invited me, as it was organized by his mom's private school. to be honest, it was a bit expensive for me, but when i thought bout how i've been wanting to do all these kinda (ok, that's the 3rd
'kinda') things and how i might not have another opportunity coming, i agreed to it.
went there at 4.30 and it was supposed to take around 2 hours. but since
none of us knows the way to go there, plus, we got lost somewhere.. (haha) so it turned out to a 3-hour-trip instead. arrived in Kasasa Ebisu at 7.30 and quickly watched the mini-concert which had started for an hour. it was ok, i think, and at the end of the band performance, everybody (well, mostly) was dancing. errr,
except Tom, of course. lol.
we didn't went straight away to bed after that, instead, we were chit chatting, and drinking, and enjoying the cool breeze by the sea while watching the stars.
ahhhhh~ such a nice weather. feels like we're filming some sort of a scene for a drama. ok,
whatever. =p after tired of being bitten by the bugs, we went to bed -- err i mean tents, and everybody fell into their
zzzzzzzz mode instantly!
impressively, i woke up early the next morning and after preparing ourselves and had breakfast, we moved to the kayak location few minutes from where we were. me, having
NO experience in kayak or whatsoever, was a bit nervous; but i know things will be fine coz hey, i have all these boys to rescue me if i drown. hahaha. (fyi, i was the
only girl on the trip. and there were 8 of us.)
it was a 2-person-kayak and i was partnered with Yasuo. wow, it needs lots of hand-muscle strength, i think, while i was pedaling that thing. and oh, we were given this kinda thing, like a water gun, and yes, everybody
did not (i repeat -- DID NOT) take it for granted, i must say. and who was the most drench person before arriving at the shore??? u get that right --
ME! cheh.

(Mr. Nomoto showed me his skills)
kayaking thru this obstacle, and that, and finally we pulled thru the shore and had lunch -- self made. (tho we didn't exactly cook it -- the organizers did. hehe). and thennnnnn...
time for BEACHHHHHH!!!! *curtsies, people!*

(as usual, this is me being vain. lol)

(Melissa once said, where there's Aimy, there's photoshoots!! :p)

(it was actually cold, the water..)

("wheeeeeeeeee~!" i screamed. n Tom can only laugh.)

(with Daiki n Yasuo)

(this is actually how we warmed ourself up coz the sand is so hot! -- with Daiki n Mitch)

(one of Tom's stalking pictures. haha kidding =p)
2 hours later, taking the fastest way to pedal back to the other side, i can see that everybody was exhausted -- but satisfied at the same time. went to the hot spring afterwards to clean up and then back home to the city. and that's the end of our weekend. but not for our sunburn! lol.

(Tom --sleeping)
i was in a way glad that i joined the trip tho it cost me
weeks of groceries!! this has definitely been written down in my
'my fulfilled wish' book. =)

THE END.
